When choosing an inspection company, cost should be the
least of your concerns. Below is a comparison with some other fees incurred when
purchasing a home.

Costs Checklist
Home Inspection fee: This is the most important fee of
all. The home inspection will tell you what is wrong with the home. It may also
expose possible code violations or illegal additions. It will also determine if
you are even going to buy the home. The actual fee is usually less than the fees
above.
A through home inspection performed by an established,
competent inspector, is a bargain at any price!

"Flippers" Inspection:
Verbal results given at the time of inspection.
The Fee is $100.00.
Foreclosure Two-Page inspection: Only
"major" components are inspected as opposed to the other
inspections
listed here. The results with estimates are placed on a two page summary.
The fee is $150.00 and the report is printed at the
inspection.
Barebones:
Single family home inspection: This inspection is performed the same as all of
the other comprehensive inspections, with the exception that only the
deficiencies and estimates are listed. This inspection is ideal for investors.
The fee is $250.00 and the report can be printed at the inspection
or e-mailed after the inspection.
Standard Comprehensive Single Family Home inspection: This inspection is
performed the same as all of the other comprehensive inspections, with the
exception that there are no pictures provided and the inspection can be printed
on site or e mailed after the inspection.

Comprehensive Single
Family Home Inspection with Pictures: This inspection is performed the
same as all of the other comprehensive inspections, with the exception that
pictures are provided and the inspection will be e mailed to the Client or Realtors
after the inspection.

Comprehensive Single Family Home
Inspection
All comprehensive inspections include the
following components:
- STRUCTURE
- DOORS, WINDOWS, AND INTERIOR
- PLUMBING
- ELECTRIC
- AIR CONDITIONING AND HEAT
MAJOR APPLIANCES
Single Family Home Plus inspections may also
include these components:
ROOF
This inspection will take approximately one
and a half to two and a half hours, possibly more depending on the size of the
property inspected. The Client will receive the standard printed report and labeled photos of
all defects. The inspection report will be compiled at the office and e mailed
to the Client or any authorized parties, the same day of the inspection. The
inspection report can be compiled onsite if needed, however, this may take an
additional one to two hours to complete.
This
inspection is also available for Townhomes, Villas, and Condominiums upon
request.This inspection is not to be confused
with or expected to be a "Code Compliant Inspection". That inspection
is listed below.
Comprehensive
Single Family Home
Sample Report
The inspection below took 3 hours onsite and another two
hours to compile at the office. It was a 2,000 square foot property.

inspection report except that the Sprinkler System, Pool, and Roof pages may not

contractors. Scheduling must be done approximately two weeks prior to the
inspection date. Non-refundable deposit of half of the total payment is due one
week prior to the inspection.
