Inspection Types

When choosing an inspection company, cost should be the least of your concerns. Below is a comparison with some other fees incurred when purchasing a home.

A complete checklist of closing costs can be found here: Closing Costs Checklist

Home Inspection fee: This is the most important fee of all. The home inspection will tell you what is wrong with the home. It may also expose possible code violations or illegal additions. It will also determine if you are even going to buy the home. The actual fee is usually less than the fees above.

A through home inspection performed by an established, competent inspector, is a bargain at any price!

See below for Magnum Inspections Inc. Inspection Types.

"Flippers" Inspection: Verbal results given at the time of inspection.

The Fee is $100.00.

Foreclosure Two-Page inspection: Only "major" components are inspected as opposed to the other inspections listed here. The results with estimates are placed on a two page summary.

The fee is $150.00 and the report is printed at the inspection.

Barebones: Single family home inspection: This inspection is performed the same as all of the other comprehensive inspections, with the exception that only the deficiencies and estimates are listed. This inspection is ideal for investors.

The fee is $250.00 and the report can be printed at the inspection or e-mailed after the inspection.

Standard Comprehensive Single Family Home inspection: This inspection is performed the same as all of the other comprehensive inspections, with the exception that there are no pictures provided and the inspection can be printed on site or e mailed after the inspection.

Comprehensive Single Family Home Inspection with Pictures: This inspection is performed the same as all of the other comprehensive inspections, with the exception that  pictures are provided and the inspection will be e mailed to the Client or Realtors after the inspection.
